On the way to Isle of Skye we pass Glen Coe. We want to do a short hike in this area. Unfortunately there is still too much snow on the tops of the munros. So we decide to take a walk in this beautiful valley between Beinn Fhada and Gear Aonach. The walk is about 4 km long. The are some beautiful waterfalls and the rock formations are spectacular. You have to cross the stream “Allt Coire Gabhail”, there are places with rough stepping stones. It’s also the same path that brings you to the climb of the munros “Stob Coire Sgreamhach” and “Bidean nam Bian”. The return walk is almost by the same route.
